Patient Fees 1st August 2024

Fees vary depending on your age, your entitlements to subsidies and the services we provide. We are happy to provide further information on request.
We are a Contracted Provider to Pegasus Health (Charitable) Ltd Primary Health Organisation. The fees information given below is for those patients who are enrolled with our practice as a member of Pegasus Health. The fees vary according to the age groups receiving government subsidies. The table of fees shows our standard consultation fees for enrolled patients in the different age groups.
There may be additional charges for:-

• Accounts not being paid on the day of consultation
• Longer consultations or additional services being provided, including the first visit for new patients
• Patients who are not enrolled with the practice (i.e. casual patients)
• After hours consultations and home visits
• Nursing services

Due to ongoing cost pressures and the gap between the government funding for primary care, Normans Rd Surgery fees will increase from 1st August 2024.

Please be advised each time your request requires the GPs time, whether it be an in clinic, phone appointment, a repeat prescription request, a referral or a form to be completed without an appointment a fee applies.

The table of fees below shows our standard GP consultation fees for enrolled and funded patients in the different age groups subsidized by the Government.

ACC consultation under 14  No charge

Full medicals which require a 45 minute appointment (15mins Nurse and 30min Dr) which are charged at $215. This includes Well Woman medical or a Mens Medical.

New patient first appointment $162 ($147 with Community Services card) 

A double appointment with the Dr is $145
Childhood immunisations – free
Sexual health consultations are free for age 14 to 17years.  Consult fee if anything else discussed.

Prescriptions $43 ($20 with CSC) if not seen but approved by Doctor. $45 for same day if approved.
